“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”
Romans 8:26-27
I am struggling in a silent state
I am wondering how to call upon your name
I am weak with unknown burdens that I didn’t know I had
So I lift my heart before you with open hands
When I have no words to say to you of what I need
When I have no strength to cry to you of how I bleed
Search my heart, speak for me
Reveal what you along can see
Spirit come, Spirit come
You are whispering you are always near
Ever shouldering all the pain I cannot bear
I need answers to the questions I didn’t know to ask
So I lift my heart before you with open hands
In my weakness, you are strong
In the silence, you are my song
